Biographical / Historical
K-Rino (Eric Kaiser) is a hip-hop / rap artist based in Houston, TX. His rap career began in 1983. In 1987, his group, Real Chill, released the single "Rockin It," one of the first rap records coming out of Houston. Also in 198y, he founded the South Park Coalition, which is a "coalition of Houston hip hop rappers which K-Rino started in 1986, wanting to unite the talent in his South Park neighborhood and the city of Houston." (www.southparkcoalition.net) In the early 1990s, he released several solo albums and collaborated with many rappers from his home town, including the south park coalition, scarface, willie dee, canibus, z-ro, dj premier and many more.
