xx. Center for Engaged Research and Collaborative Learning (CERCL)

The collection consists of documentation of CERCL activities, such as submissions to a high school essay contest, event flyers, two oral history interviews, and extensive coverage of Hip-Hop relatved classes and events.

This archival collection includes rapper and entreprenuer Scotty ATL's grill molds from actor, writer and producer Issa Rae; rapper, producer, and actor Big Boi; Atlanta rapper T.I.; and an oral history interview with Scotty ATL, by Corey Garrett, CERCL Community Archives Affiliate.

The collection contains one box of promotional materials, CDs, and memorabilia spanning the years 2009 to 2012.

This collection contains fifteen boxes of material related to the operation of The Ensemble Theatre in Houston, Texas, including General Records, Administration Records and Financial Records.

Photographs, promotional cards, posters, published interviews and music of Swisha House artists such as Paul Wall, Lil Mario, SLim Thug, Coota Bang, Michael 5000 Watts, Big Tyme, Lester Roy, Sabwarfare, Archie Lee, J Dawg and many others. Music is on audiocassette, LP album, and CD. Additionally, this collection features a large framed platinum record presented to CERCL to commemorate the sale 1 million copies of Paul Wall's The Peoples Champ album. The Community Artists’ Collective is a Houston-based nonprofit organization which organizes exhibitions for local artists and educational and community development programs for inner-city youths and adults. The collection is largely comprised of photographs, the collection also includes ephemera, newsletters, and records of the Board of Directors.

This collection documents the path of Rev. William A. "Bill" Lawson as a minister and religious educator in Houston, Texas. It includes teaching materials, recorded sermons, notes for sermons, and church bulletins for Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church.

The Pimp C rap artist collection includes several documents and promotional items including handwritten lyrics and contracts to promotional flats for his group Underground Kingz (UGK).

The HaviKoro Crew Collection contains T-shirts, posters, hand painted shoes, hand painted jacket, documents, oversized posters and banners.
