Correspondence documents the affairs of the Department of Political Science at Rice University between 1964 and 1967.

These records include the creative output of the Rice Television and Video Production organization, which comprises student events and original programming.

The collection contains audio-visual material created and edited by Douglas Killgore during his time at Rice University, both as a student in the 1970s and, decades later, as an independent filmmaker. The materials document people and events at Rice and the history of the university from 1911-2013.

Annual meeting agendas and minutes, correspondence and financial records of the Council of Societies for the Study of Religion (CSSR), which is based at Rice University, and published the Religious Studies Review Journal, The Bulletin of CSSR and directories of faculty and religious study departments.The collection also includes the editorial meetings and publication correspondence.

The collection consists of materials from Dr. John W. Clark, Jr., professor in both the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Bioengineering at Rice University. The collection also includes records of Dr. Clark’s participation in the work of several university committees, specifically Parking, Graduate Student, Admissions, and the Library. In addition there is material prepared for evaluation of courses to determine ABET accreditation in 2005.

This donation from the estate of Rice University Prof. Gilbert Cuthbertson contains circa 10,000 books / bound volumes; circa 2,000 photographs; circa 15 audiorecordings; circa 41 cartons of manuscript materials. Subject areas include Texas and Central American history, Rice University history, political science, and more.
