The Marilyn Hassid SAR Collection contains materials from the Houston Chapter of the nation’s largest Jewish Fraternity, giving insight into the chapter’s events and day-to-day existence.

This collection contains documents and memorabilia donated by Libby and Edward Marvins related to their time as congregants at Emanu El as well as an oral history conducted with Libby Marvins by staff with the Houston Jewish History Archive in 2018. The materials (including photos, newsprint, correspondence, and other unique items) offer insight into the events and organizations of the Houston Jewish community in the latter half of the 20th century.

This collection is made up of two boxes containing photographs, news clippings, memorabilia, financial documents, and event programs from Star Furniture, and an oral history conducted with Shirley Wolff Toomim and Ellen Toomim Robinson spanning the years 1925-2021.

The collection contains correspondence, awards, memorabilia, photographic slides, speeches, sermons, and conference/meeting and marketing/publicity materials that document Sherry Merfish's activism to end the negative stereotyping of Jewish women in the guise of the "Jewish American Princess" and, to a lesser extent, her work with EMILY'S List.

The collection includes certificates, correspondence, family photos, publications, a Bellaire High School commencement program, speeches, a scrapbook, an oral history, and memorabilia from the 1960 Democratic National Convention that document the activities of Stephen Kaufman, primarily, and to a lesser extent his wife, Ann, and both of their families.

This collection is made up of one box containing correspondence, photographs, news clippings, newsletters, event materials, and military documents/materials from Ruth Hutton Fred and her family, spanning from 1928-2013.

One box containing Adath Yeshurun consecration service program and photograph, photographs of Jim Novy with David Ben-Gurion, a Rice University Semi-centennial Plaque, family history books, and Houston Chronicle news clipping, all from the Paine family from 1941 to 1992.

The collection contains ephemera from Belden's Food Market spanning the years 1999 to 2016.

This collection is made up of one box containing administrative records, event materials, newsletters and news clippings, correspondence, and media from Jerry Wische's personal collection of Houston Jewish Community Center materials spanning from 1936-2021.
