Ann Holmes personal papers encompass materials outside the scope of her research on her book for Houston's cultural arts. Included are materials from her everyday life--correspondence, awards and honors, social activities, and copies of her articles, columns and reviews.

One box containing Houston artist Anthony Pabillano's exhibition programs, flyers, and original "Mini Bayong, No. 2" handwoven paper bag made by Pabillano documents some of his works between 2019-2022.

This collection includes photographic prints by Blue, digital media relating to digital storytelling, documentation of Houston community art projects, books featuring Blue or inspiring to her, documentation of projects such as Dawn at My Back, and materials related to her academic career and conferences attended.

This collection is part of the the Comic Art Teaching and Study Workshop, or CATS, based in the Department of Visual and Dramatic Arts at Rice University and accessible via the Woodson Research Center, Fondren Library, Rice University. It features original and printed comic art by American, Mexican, Chinese, German, and Japanese artists.

The Community Artists’ Collective is a Houston-based nonprofit organization which organizes exhibitions for local artists and educational and community development programs for inner-city youths and adults. The collection is largely comprised of photographs, the collection also includes ephemera, newsletters, and records of the Board of Directors.

Two autographed letters by George Cruikshank, one addressed to Angus B. Reach, 1845, the other addressed to Captain [Edwin] Hurley, 1868.

These papers consist of proofs, dummies, and printed copies of published and unpublished works written by or illustrated by Grace Spaulding John. Also included are film/film prints of illustrations from these works, sketchbooks, as well as other artwork. Additional items in the collection include biographical information on John, newspaper and magazine articles, and family photographs, audiotapes and correspondence.

This collection contains the professional files of Houston artist Howard Sherman. In addition to newsclippings, magazines, programs, correspondence, and exhibit ephemera, the collection also contains numerous prints of his artwork.

Materials in the collection comprise art exhibit catalogs, a calendar, and a newsclip spanning the years 1997 to 2011.
