Greenfield Family papers
The collection consists of one box containing nine letters in Yiddish from Morris Greenfield to his future wife, Bessie Peters (Polycov), in 1915 and one large family photograph with three generation of Greenfields from 1918.

The bulk of the collection pertains to Phyllis Gough Huffington’s research into collateral family lines and focuses from the mid-seventeenth century to the mid-twentieth century.

Jewish Federation of Greater Houston records
This collection which spans 1939 to 2018 includes a 1939-1943 notebook from the Refugee Services Committee which assisted Jews fleeing the Nazi regime in WWII, as well as a variety of photographs of people and events from the Federation's activities in the 1980s. The addendum includes event programs, guides, and one VHS recording.

This typewritten manuscript is titled "Seeking the Garden of the World". It is Oswald Mueller’s English translation of Fritz Scheffel’s Deutsche suchen den Garten der Welt. Mueller authors the preface, in which he describes the story as that of the failed German attempt to colonize Texas into a New-Germania.

Thomson family of Texas papers
This collection is bound into an 8”x11” spiral binder, and contains typed transcripts of letters and recollections of various members of the Thomson family, describing family business, moves to Texas, general health of Texas colonists, the Mier Expedition, the Texan war for independence. Some accounts are first hand descriptions of participation, such as James Monroe Hill’s account of the Battle of San Jacinto.
