Henry J. Dannenbaum Papers
This collection contains correspondence, news clippings, reports, publications, court documents, and organizational materials documenting some of Henry J. Dannenbaum's work as Special Assistant to the Attorney General, investigating violations of the Mann Act (The White-Slave Traffic Act), and materials documenting the planning and implementation of a portrait installation honoring Judge Dannenbaum. The collection spans the years 1910-2012.
Herbert Allen business and personal papers
The Herbert Allen papers include personal holdings, including biographical information, honors and awards, and personal correspondence. In addition papers dealing with his professional activities and patents are included, as are those dealing with his involvement with Rice University. Allen was an inventor and mechanical engineer who graduated from Rice Institute in 1929 where he later served on the Board of Governors and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
Herbert H. Fletcher letters
This collection contains two letters, one an invitation from Fletcher (then President of the Bell County Historical Society) to S. Walker (one-time city editor of the New York Herald-Tribune) to a Historical Society meeting; the other a rather humorous response from Walker.
