Permission to publish material from the M. Pejji Golden Collection must be obtained from the Woodson Research Center, Fondren Library. Biographical / Historical

M. Pejji Golden was born on December 4, 1926. Pejji worked on an assembly line during WWII wrapping the blades of propellers on B-24s. Later in life she worked as a buyer for hotels in Washington D.C. and San Francisco purchasing furnishing for hotel rooms, lobbies, restauraunts, etc. She later married Leon Spitzer and lived in Tucson, Arizona, where she owned her own shop working as a seamstress.

Pejji Golden died February 2, 2021, in Tuscon, Arizona.
