Permission to publish from the Central Houston Business District records, 1980-2003, must be obtained from the Woodson Research Center, Fondren Library, Rice University.

The Woodson Research Center use policy is that researchers assume sole responsibility for any infringement of privacy, literary rights, copyrights, or other rights arising from their use of the archival materials. In addition to any restrictions placed by donors, certain kinds of archival materials are restricted for the life of the creator plus 50 years. Biographical / Historical

Central Houston Business District is an orginzation dedicated to urban planning, transportation, and public events in downtown Houston. Their vision statement in 2021 is "Downtown is the heartbeat of the city and the region, and its continued health and growth is critical to the success of Houston," (see https://www.centralhouston.org/about/, accessed Aug 8, 2023).

This collection includes records from collaborations with downtown entities developing Houston's city workings largely dating from the 1980s to the 2010s. Formats include but are not limited to meeting minutes, correspondence, photographs, financial documents, dvds, and news clippings.
