The contents are donated by Rice community members and/or gathered by the Woodson Research Staff, and represent one of the most heavily used portions of the University archives.
Rice University Campus Photographer Files
An assortment of prints, photographs, negatives, and negative slides concerning the Rice University campus, student life, sports, professors, the President's House [O’Connor House], the Baker Institute, commencements, and other university events. Most of these photographs were taken by Campus Photographers Thomas LaVergne, Philip Channing, and Jeff Fitlow.

Professional papers of Dr. Neal Lane from Lane's time as a professor and administrator at Rice University, as well as his time as Director of the National Science Foundation. Also included are papers from Lane's time in the White House working as the director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy.
