Rice University Fondren Library records
This collection contains records numerous relating to all aspects of Fondren Library between 1940 and present, including information regarding a variety of committees and events, correspondences, budgets, meeting minutes, and staff administration.
Rice University Campus Photographer Files
An assortment of prints, photographs, negatives, and negative slides concerning the Rice University campus, student life, sports, professors, the President's House [O’Connor House], the Baker Institute, commencements, and other university events. Most of these photographs were taken by Campus Photographers Thomas LaVergne, Philip Channing, and Jeff Fitlow.
Comic Art Teaching and Study Workshop (CATS) collection
This collection is part of the the Comic Art Teaching and Study Workshop, or CATS, based in the Department of Visual and Dramatic Arts at Rice University and accessible via the Woodson Research Center, Fondren Library, Rice University. It features original and printed comic art by American, Mexican, Chinese, German, and Japanese artists.

These records reflect the business conducted in the offices of Rice University Provost, (Acting) President, and Chancellor during Dr. Croneis' tenure in those positions, 1954-1970. Materials include correspondence, reports, and newsclippings pertaining to a wide variety of university activities. Records are arranged alphabetically according to folder titles assigned in the respective offices from which they came.

This collection includes individual files for photographs of Rice related persons, photographs of Rice University views, interiors, and buildings, photographs of Rice related events, and more. The contents are donated by Rice community members and/or gathered by the Woodson Research Staff, and represent one of the most heavily used portions of the University archives.

Born digital research materials related to courses taught by Tani Barlow and her own research. Originally held by Brown University, per archivist Mary Murphy there, and transferred to Rice because of the digital preservation program here. File formats include PDF and jpg.
