Rice University Edgar Odell Lovett College Magister records
This collection consists of materials collected by former Magisters of Lovett College, Rice University.
Rice Institute Photographs of Special Occasions
The collection consists of 284 8” by 10” black and white photographs of special occasions at Rice Institute, chiefly baccalaureate and commencement ceremonies. The photographs were collected by Captain James A. Baker and were presented in May 1960 to the Rice Institute Library in memory of Captain and Mrs. Baker by the Baker family.

The George R. Miner, Jr. Rice memorabilia collection focuses on Rice University athletics. It contains mostly photographs of athletes, coaches, along with action shots of various sports, the majority concerning football. There are also photographs and memorabilia of team reunions, the Rice Athletic Hall of Fame, and Rice alumni events.

This collection includes individual files for photographs of Rice related persons, photographs of Rice University views, interiors, and buildings, photographs of Rice related events, and more. The contents are donated by Rice community members and/or gathered by the Woodson Research Staff, and represent one of the most heavily used portions of the University archives.
