Correspondence from Rice Institute student Otto Eisenlohr to his high school sweetheart and eventual wife, Gainor Roberts, regarding student life, academics and athletics at Rice Institute, and contemporary newsclippings and photographs.

Written memoirs and typed transcripts of interviews relating student experiences at Rice Institute, later Rice University, representing many of the classes between the years 1916 and 1976. Half of these materials are in the form of 50th reunion booklets arranged by class year, and half of them are individual student's memories arranged by the student's last name.

Abstract This material primarily consists of correspondence to and from Addison McElroy during the Second World War and immediately thereafter. Included are letters from his friends at Rice, giving insight into wartime life at the Institute. There is also an extensive number of letters from McElroy to his mother and her responses thereto.
