Bringhurst-Burke Family Collection
This collection offers a glimpse into early Houston through cartes de viste-photographs of mid-19th century Houstonians, letters, documents, books and diary and journal, as well as the research conducted on many early families.
Printed Works Teaching Collection
Printed works such as posters, comics, and books collected and purchased in support of Rice University's instruction in the areas of book arts and printng arts. Techniques include woodcuts, screenprints, letterpress printing, hand illustration, and more. This collection is developed by Fondren Library Collection Development Librarians, Special Collections Librarians, and campus partners especially in the Departments of Art and Art History.

The collection contains six boxes of correspondence, event materials (including programs, correspondence, and memorabilia), newsletters, bulletins, news clippings, books, photographs, financial documents, sermons, and video and audio material of events that document the history of Shearith Israel Congregation in Wharton, Texas, from 1921 to 2002.
