Construction on Campus negatives
This collection includes 32 sleeves of 4" x 5" black and white photographic negatives of buildings and interiors of the Rice University campus taken in the 1960's.
Croft/Wunsch family papers
The Croft/Wunsch family papers include correspondence, awards and citations, photographs, scrapbooks, news clippings, newsletters, meeting minutes, and marketing and event materials that document, primarily, the lives of the Croft and Kaplan families, and to a lesser degree, members of the Wunsch family.

The collection contains news clippings, newsletters, event programs, photographs, and slides that document a small part of Ellen and Dan Trachtenberg's activism to improve conditions for Soviet Jews.

This collection contains audio/visual materials, publications, and photographs from the years 1920's-2011 related to El Paso Corporation. The El Paso Corporation system included Coastal Corporation, Colorado Interstate Gas, El Paso Natural Gas, Southern Natural Gas, Tennessee Gas Pipeline, and Ruby Pipeline.
Reginald J. Dufour astronomical photographic glass plates
This collection contains 242 astronomical photographic glass plates collected by Rice University's Dr. Reggie Dufour. The majority were taken at the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory in the Coquimbo Region of northern Chile. A small number of the plates were taken at the Kitt Peak National Observatory near Tucson Arizona.
Rice University Campus Photographer Files
An assortment of prints, photographs, negatives, and negative slides concerning the Rice University campus, student life, sports, professors, the President's House [O’Connor House], the Baker Institute, commencements, and other university events. Most of these photographs were taken by Campus Photographers Thomas LaVergne, Philip Channing, and Jeff Fitlow.
Rice University Development Office Event Records
The collection consists of planning records; photographs, plaques, film, paper and digital; video DVDs, VHS cssettes, one zip disk, two floppy disks, and two micro-cassettes. The various media contain images of participants in events like Rice Associates dinners, ground breakings for new buildings, and dedication ceremonies. The VHS cassettes include several commencement ceremonies not in other collections.
Shearith Israel Congregation collection
The collection contains six boxes of correspondence, event materials (including programs, correspondence, and memorabilia), newsletters, bulletins, news clippings, books, photographs, financial documents, sermons, and video and audio material of events that document the history of Shearith Israel Congregation in Wharton, Texas, from 1921 to 2002.
Shelby D. Goodman collection
The Shelby D. Goodman collection contains concept sketches and photographs of two of Goodman’s most influential buildings--the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston Building and the Kaplan Museum of Judaica. In addition, the collection has several religious group photographs, and six sound recordings of Jewish religious music, offering a rich insight into Jewish spaces and traditions in the community.
Vera Prasilova Scott portraiture collection
Photographic prints, glass plate negatives and other equipment and supplies related to professional portraiture by Vera Prasilova Scott, mainly dating from 1926-1937 during her time in Houston close to the Rice Institute. Houston and Rice University-related subjects include the Lovett, Baker, Blaffer, Cullinan, Wiess, Hutcheson, Autrey and Sharp families.
