The contents of this collection include the papers and publications of Harry Van Demark. Van Demark was considered the most prolific writer in the Houston area of his time.
History of Student Life at Rice Oral Histories project
Audio cassette tapes and subject index of oral histories given by Rice students and alumni regarding student life, created within a university course as a contribution to the charter centennial celebration in 1991. It also includes a copy of the published work, The History of Student Life at Rice University: A Series of Papers, which resulted from these interviews.
