This collection contains Allan H. Stevenson’s research of early paper-making and printing. Included in the collection are samples of early watermarked paper, facsimiles of watermarks, correspondence and manuscript notes by Stevenson, and reviews of publications. Also included are: proof copies of papers by Stevenson and other scholars, miscellaneous printed material on the subject of printing, conferences and exhibitions, and presentations from other scholars.
Allan Ludwig New England Gravestone photographs
The collection consists of 408 black and white photographs and 77 slides of New England gravestone carvings. The gravestone carvings date from 1653-1810, these photographs of the carvings were created by Allan Ludwig in 1961-1964.
Allen and Morris Business Ledger
This collection contains the business ledger of the firm of Allen and Morris, showing transactions for services and sundries with various persons and companies, including the Confederate States of America. The firm was located in Prattville, Alabama, and the ledger’s entries date from June 27, 1862 to November 15, 1864.

This collection contains correspondence, memos, organizational and reading lists, and budget information regarding an organization called the American Defense Group. The Group consisted largely of professors from three California institutions who were interested in assisting the American war effort by reading foreign-language domestic publications and reporting editorial comments to U.S. Naval Intelligence.
American Institute of Architects Houston (AIA Houston) oral history interview collection
The collection consists of tape recorded interviews with nine people who were closely familiar with the architectural work of William Ward Watkin.
