This file contains the legal documentation of the tax-excempt status of the Texas Human Rights Foundation granted in 1978, including a local newspaper clipping entitled, "Human Rights Foundation Granted Tax Exempt Status."

This file contains a copy of the grant proposal THRF wrote in the hopes of gaining funding from Exxon for their AIDS advocacy project in 1989. Unfortunately, the grant was denied on the grounds that it was a continuation project. The response from Exxon is included, as well as previous drafts of the grant proposal.

This file contains newspaper clippings of articles that mention THRF and copies of various grant proposals.

THe file contains copies of the legal documents from and about the Gary Van Ooteghem bankruptcy case. Since THRF was an unsecured creditor, full compensation was not guaranteed. Only a portion of the loan was granted back to THRF on the grounds that it was unsecured creditor.

This file contains various THRF board meeting minutes and reports from within THRF such as fundraising reports and treasurer's reports.

This file contains documents surrounding the amicus brief filed by the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Houston, Texas regarding the Texas Sodomy Law.
