Biographical/Historical Note
Rice University began a search for a new Vice Provost of Research in 2007. The position's duties include managing key elements of the University's research infrastrucutre, identifying new areas for research, helping to develop links between the university and federal, industry and other funding agencies, and representing Rice to local, regional, national and international consitutencies.
