The records relate to the governing council of the society, meetings and their agendas and minutes, published materials such as programs, announcements and invitations for special concerts and the Madrigal Dinner.

The records were transferred to Woodson Research Center in 1998 by Shepherd Society Board member, Genevieve (Mrs. Roy D.) Demme.
