Permission to publish from the Leo S. Shamblin papers must be obtained from the Woodson Research Center.

Biographical / Historical
Leo S. Shamblin (1906-1997) was the treasurer and business manager at the Rice Institute, later the Rice University. He replaced C.A. Dwyer in 1959 and continued in that position until the academic year 1976/1977. His previous work included being the senior vice president of the Ferderal Land Bank in New Orleans.
