Permission to publish material from the Feld Family Papers must be obtained from the Woodson Research Center, Fondren Library. The Woodson Research Center use policy is that researchers assume sole responsibility for any infringement of privacy, literary rights, copyrights, or other rights arising from their use of the archival materials. In addition to any restrictions placed by donors, certain kinds of archival materials are restricted for the life of the creator plus 50 years. These materials include, but are not limited to, student grades, transcripts, and any job applications or recommendations.
Biographical / Historical
Mose Mordecai Feld was born in Galveston, Texas, February 9, 1900, to Benjamin and Gittel (Pfeiffer) Feld. Fannie Kaplan was born January 14, 1903, in Louisiana to Harry and Jennie (Hyman) Kaplan.
Mose Feld married Fannie Elizabeth Kaplan. The couple had two children: Bernice and Mose Jr.
Mose Feld died August 20, 1961, and Fannie Feld died June 10, 1994. Both were interred at Emanu El Memorial Park in Houston, Texas.
