Scope and Contents

This collection consists of one folder of materials related to Bertrand Moser's bar mitzvah at Congregation Emanu El in 1959. It includes the invitation to his bar mitzvah, his bar mitzvah certificate signed by Rabbi Kahn, and a bar mitzvah memory book signed by guests to the bar mitzvah and also including telegrams of congratulations and other ephemera from the bar mitzvah.

Biographical / Historical

Bertrand Carl Moser was born on January 26, 1946 to Frank Moser and Elizabeth Lurie Moser. He and his family were members at Congregation Emanu El, where he became bar mitzvah in 1959. He graduated from Rice University in 1967. He became a lawyer after graduating from the University of Texas in 1970.
