Telegrams, handwritten notes, an invitation and photocopies of a wedding album document the wedding of Barbara Marie Goltzman and Sidney Theodore Levis on December 9, 1956. The wedding album was water damaged. The album was scanned and discarded. The telegrams, handwritten note, and invitation were preserved.

Permission to publish material from the Golzman/Levis Wedding Album must be obtained from the Woodson Research Center, Fondren Library.

The Woodson Research Center use policy is that researchers assume sole responsibility for any infringement of privacy, literary rights, copyrights, or other rights arising from their use of the archival materials. Biographical / Historical

Sidney Theodore Levis was born in Houston, Texas, on February 20, 1927, to Michael and Mollie (Greenberg) Levis. Barbara Marie Golzman was born in Nueces, Texas, on December 26, 1933, to Samuel and Helen (Bettin) Goltzman.

Sidney and Marie were married December 9, 1956. The couple had two children. They divorced in 1997.

Sidney Levis died July 9, 2003, and is interred at Beth Yeshurun Cemetery in Houston.
