These records consist of the meeting notes of and information about the inner workings of the Centennial Commission.

The Rice University Young Alumni Committee records, 1977-2005 consists of meeting minutes and records of activities during each of the earliest years of the committee.

The collection contains event flyers, "Branches" newsletters, and event posters, which document some of the activities the Program in Jewish studies participated in from 2015 to present.

This symposium was hosted at Rice University on April 4, 2019, focused on capitalism and the convict leasing system in the American South. The collection consists of the videorecordings of the symposium sessions, as well as a PDF copy of the event program.

The Charles W. Duncan, Jr. business papers include correspondence, speeches and writings, memoranda, minutes, reports, studies, printed matter, photographs, memorabilia, newsclippings, and bound volumes. A 1947 graduate of Rice Institute, Duncan served under President Carter as Deptury Secretary of Defense and Secretary of Energy. He served as president of Coca-Cola, Co. and on the board of trustees of Rice University.

Archival materials from the office of Dr. Burrus after his death in 2021. Includes laptop computer and paper files spanning his career in electrical engineering.

Photographs and supporting information from two Photography series 21 Little Buildings and Photographing Italy.

Newspaper articles, political campaign materials, Texas and national Republican Party ephemera and publications reflecting the research interests of lawyer, author, scholar and Rice alumnus Douglas Harlan.

This collection consists of circa 700 color prints stolen from the journals (the journal of the British Ornithologists’ Union) and Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London, owned by the Fondren Library. The prints date from 1859-1915 and feature birds, bird eggs, and other animals. Theft correspondence and research dates from 1980-2004 and represents the Fondren Library’s efforts to cooperate with and assist in the Blumberg investigation.

Correspondence and memorabilia from Rice Institute student Anah Marie Leland, future wife of William McIver Streetman, regarding student life, academics and athletics first at Houston’s Central High School 1915-1918, and following at Rice Institute, 1918-1922. Letters continue to 1953.
