The minutes, reports, memoranda and correspondence generated by the Committee on Campus Safety and by its predecessor, the Committee on Disasters and Emergencies. The collection is arranged chronologically.

This record group includes the minutes, memoranda, correspondence and reports generated by the Rice University Committee on Examinations and Standing.

Correspondence and memoranda related to the Religious Activities committee's charge to coordinate all activities of a religious nature on Rice's campus and regulating use of Rice chapel.

These records contain information on commissions, minutes of meetings both of the committee and of the Association of Naval ROTC Colleges; questionnaires sent to other schools with ROTC programs; information on various ROTC summer camp programs and a significant number of correspondences between ROTC Committee chairmen, faculty, and administration.

The collection consists of the notes, correspondence, and minutes of the Committee on University Welfare, formed in 1961. It served as a grievance committee until 1971 when the committee disbanded and its functions were taken over by the newly organized Faculty Council and the University Council.

The Friends of Fondren Library Records contain meeting minutes, correspondence, membership information, printed invitations, newsclippings, lectures, budgets, photographs, typescripts, notes, and pamphlets regarding business and events held by the Friends from 1950 to 2021.

Records pertaining to the Rice University Admissions Committee between 1946 and 1988. Includes admission forms, minutes, memos, reports, and correspondence.

The collection consists of both published and unpublished records of projects undertaken by the Rice Center for Community Design + Research, subsequently the Rice Center. It also includes records of two projects of the University of Louisville which served as precursors to much of the early research completed at the Rice Center.
