24. Rice University student life

The collection consists of fourteen diploma proofs and fifty-five diplomas with recipients named. Five different degrees awarded by Rice are represented: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy.

This collection consists of records of the Rice University Rally Club, a men's social organization on campus from 1926 to 1970.

The collection consists of hearing abstracts of cases heard by the University Court.

The Student Association Records consist of a variety of material related to the Rice University Student Association. These records include meeting minutes, correspondence, memos, constitution and bylaws, financial documents, floor plans, reports, employee contracts, proposals, and student publications. The material begins in 1918 and continues through 2013, with the bulk of the information starting in the early 1960s.

These records include the daily business, projects, and publicity for Rice PRIDE student group. (2 boxes)

The Daley Papers include personal documents from Daley's high school and Rice University years, a play script and original artwork. There are also photographs of Rice and of World War II infantry and intelligence units, along with some newspaper clippings and correspondence from 1946 and 1963.

The Fred C. Alter papers contain correspondence, memorabilia, Rice notebooks, a personal scrapbook, photographs, and material related to the Robert P. Quin Award.

The Rice University Commencement files include programs, newsclippings and notes dating from the first commencement in 1916 up to the current day.

This collection includes t-shirts created by the Rice Hillel community in 2012-2013, with a shirt for each of the Rice University residential colleges, featuring the college name written in Hebrew.
