Historical Note
The Rice University Court is composed of eleven undergraduates elected annually by the student body, three graduate student representatives and two freshman representatives appointed by the University Court. The Court operates under its own Constitution and By-laws. The University Court has original jurisdiction over an alleged violation of University Rules and other issues.
