Abstract

As noted in the Notes of the Minutes 2014 document, these Minutes contain a final dissolution proposal for the TEDA organization which was evidently taken based on the lack of further records. Taking into account that some major executives (Steve Murdock and Michael Cline) of the Hobby Center for the Study of Texas were also involved in TEDA, and the fact that the Hobby Center was focused on demographics research and established roughly around the period that TEDA was dissolved, we can conclude that the purpose and research of TEDA merely transferred to the Hobby Center.
