The Holtzmans did the lyrics while Fever Tree did the music. Scott Holtzman met members of the future Fever Tree, helped them change their name, Vivian and Scott would write the lyrics as a team. Had number one records in Houston, but became more widely popular when they released an album with Uni. Andrus: Recorded them all together in one room except the drummer in a box. Walt Andrus dissues recording with the 13th Elevators and working with Frank Davis on the mix. The 13th Elevators wanted to use small speakers, which degraded the sound.
