Scope and Contents
Arthur E. Hall's papers include correspondence, original compositions, arrangements, settings, and harmonizations, as well as audio recordings of his performances and materials from the Charles Ives family.The original composition material includes some of Hall's music manuscripts of compositions, arrangements, settings and harmonizations that reflect his prolific composing skills. Some of the works are arranged alphabetically; other work is separated into Orchestra and parts. There are also scores for quartets and quintets.
