The collection consists of materials accumulated by a major alumni
supporter of Rice athletics over sixty years. Included is a program
from the Texas Relays in 1926 which shows the discus throwing record
in the Southwest Conference held by the creator of the collection.

The George R. Miner, Jr. Rice memorabilia collection focuses on Rice University athletics.
