This collection contains the original manuscript (including corrections, revisions, and pencil notes) of "A Kaleidoscope of Rome," Crawford's first article on Rome. The essay is a descriptive narrative of Rome, its people, its history, etc. Portions of the essay were later included in Crawford's work, Ave Roma Immortalis. The manuscript consists of 50 leaves mounted on a full maroon calf folio binding.
