This collection contains the original manuscript (including corrections, revisions, and pencil notes) of "A Kaleidoscope of Rome," Crawford's first article on Rome. The essay is a descriptive narrative of Rome, its people, its history, etc. Portions of the essay were later included in Crawford's work, Ave Roma Immortalis.

This collection contains the original manuscript (including corrections, revisions, and pencil notes) of "A Kaleidoscope of Rome," Crawford's first article on Rome. The essay is a descriptive narrative of Rome, its people, its history, etc. Portions of the essay were later included in Crawford's work, Ave Roma Immortalis. The manuscript consists of 50 leaves mounted on a full maroon calf folio binding.
