Scope and Contents The records reflect the annual alumni events overseen by the Alumni Affairs office between the years of 1992 and 2012 and supervised by Jennifer Harding, Director of Reunion Programs and Special Events.

Abstract These administrative files of the Rice University Anthropology Department reflect the daily business of the department, including correspondence, conference papers/articles/publications, CVs, research/travel funding requests, student evaluations, hiring and promotional materials, and personnel information. In addition, materials on anthropology syllabi and courses offered are included. This material begins in the 1950s and continues through 2007.

Overview The collection consists of twenty-seven objects found in August 1996 at a site on the Rice University campus that was being prepared for construction of the Baker Institute building. The conclusion of a professional archaeologist is that the items are residue from an early incinerator pit. There are sixteen glass items, six ceramic, and five metal ones.

Overview These records include architectural drawings, maps, posters, oversize manuscript materials, and photographs ranging in dates from 1840s-2010s. The majority of architectural drawings relate to Rice University. The collection also contains oversize material from other manuscript collections. Links to these finding aids are included.
