Professional papers, manuscript notes and personal correspondence of Alan Dugald McKillop, Professor of English, Rice University. Included in the collection are: James Thomson letters (photocopies); Samuel Richardson letters (photocopies); Aaron Hill letters; typescripts of articles; reviews of McKillop's books; reviews by McKillop; offprints by McKillop, offprints of other authors (most autographed).

The papers of medieval historian Dr. Floyd Seyward Lear include correspondence, departmental and university reports and memoranda, teaching materials, research notes, and a variety of memorabilia, including photographs which document his long tenure at Rice University (1925-1975) as well as the history of the University itself.

The collection consists of materials from Elinor Evans' career at Rice University and materials documenting her personal work, including works exhibited at the Moody Gallery. The collection includes paintings, sketches, collages, woven and tapestry work, photographs and slides, correspondence, and awards.

These papers consist of the academic and professional papers of Lars Lerup the former Dean of the Rice School of Architecture, 1993-2009.

This collection currently holds the Academic Memoirs Project, created by the Association of Retired Rice University Faculty, with one memoir created in 2020 by David McStravick, Mechanical Engineering.

Archival materials from the office of Dr. Burrus after his death in 2021. Includes laptop computer and paper files spanning his career in electrical engineering.

This collection is part of the the Comic Art Teaching and Study Workshop, or CATS, based in the Department of Visual and Dramatic Arts at Rice University. It features original and printed comic art by American, Mexican, Chinese, German, and Japanese artists.

The collection consists of sales/payment records, tax records, maps, deeds, and correspondence concerning the town lots received by the Rice Institute from the Rice Estate and others purchased in later years. Also included are deeds, construction contracts, inventories, tax records, and correspondence concerning the Rice Hotel and 99-year lease with the Houston Endowment.

This record group contains all the records of the Rice University $33 Million Campaign Office. Included are proposals, requests, reports, correspondence, brochures, and newsletters produced during the campaign.

Faculty offprints, reproductions of individual articles published in scholarly journals, written by Rice University professors, with publication dates ranging from 1897 to 2005.
