These papers include the correspondence, memos, newsclips, and information on candidates under consideration from the Faculty-Student Committee for the Selection of a President following the August 1968 resignation of Kenneth Pitzer.

These administrative files of the Rice University History Department reflect the daily business of the department, including meeting minutes, memos, correspondence, program and committee files, faculty files, Rorschach Lecture files and CHLI project files. This material begins with the 1960s and goes through the 1980s, when the department was significantly expanded.

The collection consists of records representing the official business of the committee that selected Malcolm Gillis as the sixth president of Rice University. The records include committee membership, correspondence, 120 candidate files, input from faculty, staff, and students.

This record group includes correspondence and event planning documents from the Student Center Board, as well as the daily business, publicity, meeting minutes, and memorabilia of the Rice Program Council (RPC).

This collection consists of records of the Rice University Rally Club, a men's social organization on campus from 1926 to 1970.

The Rice Design Alliance, established in 1973, is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to increasing greater public awareness of architecture, design and the environment. These materials represent RDA lectures, seminars, symposiums, exhibits and tours, which have involved the general public in issues related to the design of public spaces, parks, office buildings, retail centers and residential neighborhoods.

Included are Council minutes and other college business, associate and orientation correspondence and documents, social events, dedication and anniversary files, news clippings, publications, theatrical files, correspondence, and photographs, as well as audio/visual media, posters, and T-shirts.
