This collection contains the professional files of Rice University professor of Musicology Marcia Citron. The collection contains essays, journals, newsclippings, magazines, programs, correspondence, conference ephemera, etc.

Paul Cooper’s papers document his professional career as a composer, music critic, author and teacher, at Rice University, University of Michigan, and University of Cincinnati. Formats include correspondence, compositions (scores), course notes and outlines, photographs, notes, performance, programs, and sound recordings; dates range from 1943-1995.

The collection consists of two letters to John Houlton of Farley Castle, Bath. Also included is a letter (April 12, 1850) from Arthur Houlton.
