Abstract
The collection consists of materials documenting the beginning of Women’s Studies as an academic discipline at Rice University. In addition there are materials describing Rice Women’s Conferences that took place in 1996 and 1999. The collection also includes a set of audio cassette-recorded interviews with attendees at the 1996 conference.
