Prints

This collection consists of owl watercolor prints by artist M. Cole.

The collection contains documentation of the Livres d'artistes books acquired for the Fondren Library; information on the artists who created the books; administrative records; and information on presentations/class instruction made about the collection.

Printed works such as posters, comics, and books collected and purchased in support of Rice University's instruction in the areas of book arts and printng arts. Techniques include woodcuts, screenprints, letterpress printing, hand illustration, and more. This collection is developed by Fondren Library Collection Development Librarians, Special Collections Librarians, and campus partners especially in the Departments of Art and Art History.

Stella Sullivan was a Houston based artist and teacher, of the Midcentury Modernist genre. She worked with formats such as silkscreen prints, fabric art, watercolors, and more. Materials in this collection reflect the artist and teaching career of Stella Sullivan, including examples of her work, class notes, correspondence, and more.

This collection consists of framed paintings, framed and unframed drawings, prints, sculptures, and other artworks donated to the Woodson Research Center/Rice University archives.
