The American Association of University Professors: Rice University chapter collection consists of folders containing meeting minutes, correspondence, membership rosters, newsletters and other documents representing the regular business of the Rice University chapter. Specific issues covered in the collection are academic freedom and freedom of the press at Rice University.

Records pertaining to the Rice University Admissions Committee between 1946 and 1988. Includes admission forms, minutes, memos, reports, and correspondence.

The collection consists of the notes, correspondence, and minutes of the Committee on University Welfare, formed in 1961. It served as a grievance committee until 1971 when the committee disbanded and its functions were taken over by the newly organized Faculty Council and the University Council.
