A book of stories depicting the eight phases of Shaka, published in the Edo area since the middle of Edo period. This full-length book, which took 26 years to publish, tells the Buddha's life in an easy style with many powerful illustrations by the Ukiyo-e artist. Exact hight: 17.5 cm.
