The collections includes a series of scrapbooks of the activities of Rice alumni and a series of scrapbooks from Rice University departments, Rice-related events, and other materials related to the life of the university. Zue Belle Shaw graduated from Rice Institute in 1934. Shaw was a member of the Elizabeth Baldwin Literary Society, Junior Prom Committee, Young Women's Christian Association and Glee Club. She enjoyed following Rice football, filling her scrapbook entirely with newspaper articles and photographs related to the football team. She even included a page with what seems to be the football players' autographs.
