The ad-hoc committee was dissolved in March, 1962; and July 1st, 1962, the Graduate Council superseded the Committee on Graduate Instruction. The duties of the Graduate Council include recommending general policies on graduate study, interpreting these policies and establishing procedures to implement them as required.
