Scope and Contents
The collection consists of two sections. The first section is copies of newspaper articles featuring Rice University collected together in weekly packets preceded by an index. The index includes brodcast news listings. The sources are national, international, regional, and local. The first articles received cover the period October - November 1987. Beginning February 1988 the packets were called Rice News Notes; in May 1992 the name changed to Rice Press Clippings. The second section is copies of indexes to the weekly packets of articles.
