The collection consists primarily of Prof. Craig's research notes and copies of his A Bibliography of Encyclopedias and Dictionaries Dealing With Military, Naval, and Maritime Affairs (in 4 editions); correspondence related to the work; 2 versions of his Harvard Ph.D. dissertation; and his research materials for a bibliography of books and stories on imaginary wars and fictitious battles (Dorking and others).
