Permission to publish the Joseph Bader family history must be obtained by the Woodson Research Center.

Biographical / Historical
Joseph Bader (1800-1873) was the co-founder of Castroville, Texas. Originally from Wittelsheim, France, he relocated to the United States in 1844. He eventually ended up in Texas. He became a Justice and a County Commissioner and was a farmer.
