Chamberlain-Cravens-Cullinan family papers
The collection consists of correspondence, photographs, personal records, genealogy books, memorabilia, audio and visual materials, and ephemera collected by Nancy Cravens Chamberlain and representing the lives of her grandfather, Joseph Stephen Cullinan; her parents, Mary Cullinan and James R. Cravens; and herself and her siblings.
Houston Canoe Club records
Houston Canoe Club was established in 1964, and pursues all types of paddlesport, from canoeing to kayaking, quietwater, whitewater, touring and racing. The records in this collection reflect the club's activities such as meetings, events and training. Formats include meeting minutes, correspondence, photographs, financial records, event planning records and ephemera such as event t-shirts.
Louis Aulbach Buffalo Bayou research materials
Research materials for the 2011 monograph published by Louis Aulbach entitled Buffalo Bayou : An echo of Houston's wilderness beginnings. Formats include typescript drafts of text for the book, notes, and images and copies of primary sources consulted such as photographs, newspaper and journal articles, and more. This is an entirely digital collection, with access facilitated by staff at the Woodson Research Center.
William M. Rice family collection
The collection consists primarily of business and personal correspondence of three particular descendants of William Marsh Rice and of the spouse of one of them. Also included are a few items from 1929 and 1930 associated with other family members.
Braes Republican Women's Club records
Donated by active Republicans Dr. and Mrs. Edward C.M. Chen, these club records show the activities of the Braes Republican Women's Club in Houston, such as meeting minutes and detailed scrapbooks featuring photographs of members and various events. The period of time covered by this material includes Dr. Chen’s term of service as Harris County Republican Party Chair. Dr. and Mrs. Chen both appear in this collection, which was maintained by Mrs. Chen. (3 boxes)

Photographs, promotional cards, posters, published interviews and music of Swisha House artists such as Paul Wall, Lil Mario, SLim Thug, Coota Bang, Michael 5000 Watts, Big Tyme, Lester Roy, Sabwarfare, Archie Lee, J Dawg and many others. Music is on audiocassette, LP album, and CD. Additionally, this collection features a large framed platinum record presented to CERCL to commemorate the sale 1 million copies of Paul Wall's The Peoples Champ album. Captain James A. Baker of Houston, 1857-1941 biography research materials
The collections contains extensive research files on James A. Baker and his family, including biographical, genealogical and law firm, recollections of family members and friends, correspondence and newsclips, as well as numerous photographs of family members, houses and family events. This material was gathered in 2011-2012 by Kate Kirkland in preparation for the publication of her biography of Baker, published in 2012.
