The collection consists of five boxes of correspondence, newspaper clippings, newsletters, programs, photographic material, and media (digital oral history, VHS, audio cassettes, and CDs) that document some of Janice Rubin's activities as a teacher, musician, and photographer within the Houston Jewish community from 1941 to 2023. Also included is a packet of materials provided to Jewish service members during World War II.

The Croft/Wunsch family papers include correspondence, awards and citations, photographs, scrapbooks, news clippings, newsletters, meeting minutes, and marketing and event materials that document, primarily, the lives of the Croft and Kaplan families, and to a lesser degree, members of the Wunsch family.

This collection consists of twenty-seven boxes containing administrative materials, awards and certificates, bulletins, correspondence, directories, event materials, news clippings, photographs, radio and television materials, scrapbooks, and yearbooks from Houston Hadassah, spanning 1934-2022.

The collection includes one box of personal correspondence, certificates, newspaper and newsletter clippings, photographs, memorabilia, and a scrapbook that document the activities of Reuben Askanase, Hilda Graham Askanase, David Askanase, and Susan Askanase between 1948 and 2013.

This collection contains materials pertaining to the Texas Jewish Feminist Conference led by Sandra Block as a part of the American Jewish Committee Houston Branch.

This collection contains issues of the Jewish Herald-Voice, as well as related correspondence, newsprint and articles, photographs, and a Directory of Jewish Organizations showcasing different aspects of the Jewish community and smaller groups that make it up. "Representing the great and powerful diversity of [the Houston and Texas Gulf Coast Jewish communities,] the Herald unites many thoughts in its weekly pages" (Newspaper owners Samuels and Levy).

This collection contains documents and memorabilia donated by Libby and Edward Marvins related to their time as congregants at Emanu El as well as an oral history conducted with Libby Marvins by staff with the Houston Jewish History Archive in 2018. The materials (including photos, newsprint, correspondence, and other unique items) offer insight into the events and organizations of the Houston Jewish community in the latter half of the 20th century.

This collection contains materials relevant to the century-old Workmen’s Circle, a social justice organization dedicated to preserving Jewish identity and activism. The materials include group portraits of members in 1925 and 1945, and a Certificate of Service presented to Edith Winograd Stolbun, whose son donated the collection.

The Martin Nathan Collection contains photographs and scrapbook pages depicting Martin Nathan over the course of his life, with a focus on his Bar Mitzvah. The detailed identification of attendees and extensive gift list offer a clear depiction of the ceremony.

This collection contains programs, pamphlets, photographs, speeches, correspondence, compact discs, administrative records, and newsletters that document part of the history of Jewish Family Service - Houston from 1947 to 2015, including oral history interviews conducted with former staff and board members.
