The Rice University Young Alumni Committee records, 1977-2005 consists of meeting minutes and records of activities during each of the earliest years of the committee.

This collection documents not only the early years of the Rice Institute, but also the years the institute was in the planning stages and William Marsh Rice's involvement. The assets of the institute are also detailed.

These records mostly include the photographs and negatives taken by Rice News photographers, as well as digital image files and copies of individual newspapers.
